The NJ Band are a ceilidh/barn dance band unlike any other. Hip Hop and ceilidh don't often go together, but here they do, and it just works! It's a modern take on a traditional ceilidh. Many moons ago, three men were born in Sheffield and played rock music together. Many less moons ago two women grew up in Wales and played folk music beautifully. Eventually the women went to university in Sheffield and the OK Ceilidh Band, blending traditional ceilidh fun with a driving rhythm and backing, was born.
