HP Ceilidh Band

The HP Band are a five piece ceilidh and barn dance band, based in South Staffordshire. They have many years of experience providing top quality entertainment, and a passion for all things ceilidh! They come equipped with enthusiasm, fun and PAT tested equipment, and they are fully covered with PLI. They play fun and lively barn dance and ceilidh music, just what you need for a good dance. Their sound is best described as folk-rock and is produced by a line-up of fiddle, keyboard, guitar, drums and bass guitar.

They're an eclectic bunch; the thread that joins them together is music, but the band come from various different backgrounds, including teaching, Morris, ballroom dance and more. There's no "edge" or stuffiness to this band - they will help everyone get involved. If you or your guests have never been to a barn dance before, not to worry, all of their dances are "called" which means you'll be guided through step by step. If you go wrong, well, that's half the fun!!
