The CG Barndance and Ceilidh band ref: 6686

A 3 piece band including caller. Their repertoire is varied; the backbone of their sound is traditional Irish and Scottish tunes, but they also source tunes from further afield - Venezuela, Brittany, America etc. They are a dance band with the emphasis firmly on fun. Reliable, friendly and adaptable, the musicians of the CG Band promise to bring everyone together on the dancefloor for fun, laughter and a great time!

This band offer bespoke, professional entertainment. There is an infectious joy about their music - which is spontaneous, raw and real. The humorous way in which everyone is included and encouraged to dance makes for a unique experience. Many people who were convinced that ceilidh dancing was not for them have been persuaded to have a go and later complimented The CG Band for introducing them to it! Their members are Al, one of the best folk fiddler in the country and a respected sound engineer; Di, a talented cello player and dance caller; and Dan on mandocello. Dan is a talented songwriter too and when appropriate will sing!
