Their repertoire is varied; the backbone of their sound is traditional Irish and Scottish tunes, but they also source tunes from further afield - Venezuela, Brittany, America etc. Central Wales is within this Barn Dance Band’s local performance area. They are a dance band with the emphasis firmly on fun. Reliable, friendly and adaptable, the musicians of the CG Band promise to bring everyone together on the dancefloor for fun, laughter and a great time!
Based on an English Barn Dance Band, they can also include American, Scottish and Irish if desired. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to Central Wales. Hear all the traditional barn dance tunes, dance all the dances, with the SR Band, including accordion, fiddle, bass and Sheila herself, the caller (+ guitar, percussion) ,– and what a lovely Geordie accent she has too! The band's emphasis is on having fun and they are happy to play for any event, from village socials, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings etc.

Licketysplit is an American barn dance band whose members are professional musicians with many years’ experience of weddings, parties and community events. Lots of fun is guaranteed and absolutely everyone can get involved, even if they’ve not done barn dancing before. The Barn Dance Band performs regularly in Central Wales. They have a repertoire of American music and dances but, just like American heritage, there’s plenty from elsewhere too.
Hullabaloo is an English ceilidh band providing music for parties, weddings and community events in which everyone can be involved and have fun. They use a wide repertoire of English music and dances and, for variety, some jigs, reels and hornpipes from elsewhere too. Central Wales is within this Barn Dance Band’s local performance area. Usually in the course of an evening event they’ll lead a variety of different dances, which are all easy to learn, interspersed with some music to listen to – but they can also provide music for events where there’s no dancing.
The NJ Band are a ceilidh/barn dance band unlike any other. Hip Hop and ceilidh don't often go together, but here they do, and it just works! It's a modern take on a traditional ceilidh.
