This band have been performing their own particular brand of traditional English, Irish and Scottish music for a while now. The current 5 piece + caller line-up seems to have got people talking about them and they have been very busy recently playing pubs, folk clubs, universities and private parties. The BM Band usually perform as a 3 piece band plus caller. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to Kesgrave. They play a wide range of traditional folk music from around the British Isles, with some American tunes thrown in for good measure.
They can tailor their repertoire and dances to suit your requirements and will endeavour to include any requested tunes to make your celebration extra special. Their genial and good-humoured caller will guide all guests throughout the dances, judging the best dances to suit the guests and when to let everyone have a rest while the band play some tunes to listen to.

The RV Ceilidh and Barn Dance Band play English, Irish and Scottish traditional tunes with dances including Blaydon Races, Circassian Circle, Three Meet, Bridge of Athelone, The Music Man, Gay Gordens, The Big Set, Pat A Cake, Lucky Seven, Virginia Reel etc. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to Kesgrave. The band will teach the dances first then let the dances run once the steps are known, although they can call the dances all the way through if required.

The DS Ceilidh duo is a 'micro ceilidh' band made up of box/bass drum and caller/whistles/flutes, perfect for smaller spaces or budgets. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to Kesgrave. They can also offer less familiar instruments, such as cornamuse, hulusi and bagpipes, and they can sing songs while your dancers get their breath back! The musicians have years of experience playing in ceilidh bands and their repertoire covers English, Scottish, Irish, American and some French.
