The TN Barndance Band play a mix of Irish, Scottish, American and English folk music. The band regularly plays for private functions in Helston. The line- up includes fiddles, banjo, whistle, guitar and keyboard. The band will normally begin with some music to listen to get people in the mood. Then their caller will walk and talk you through all the dances before the band strikes up, so that even the most inexperienced dancer of any age will have a great time.

They supply their own high quality PA system.

They play a variety of instruments but find that the guitar, tenor banjo and flute give them the bass rhythm, middle range and melody lead that drives the music for Barn Dances. Venues played last year include an American Indian tepee, an Asian Indian tent, sailing clubs, hotels, barns and even a coastal fort which had to be accessed through its gun ports!. The band regularly plays for private functions in Helston.
