Pop Bands Performance & Setup Times

é     Back to previous page

PERFORMANCE TIME

The time stated is from when the band start the first part of their performance to when the finish their last part. Within this time there will be rest periods. If there are periods when you don't want them to perform, this is also included in the time.

Pop, Function, Covers, Party bands all have very different performance schedules. They tend to do a defined number of sets of defined length, filling the rest of the time with recorded music. The quote only outlines what will be done within the playing period. If you wish to book a specific band, and the schedule is unclear to you, please ask for it to be clarified.

SET UP TIME

Some bands have a lot of equipment to set up and will set up during the afternoon of the performance. Other bands have less equipment and will set up in the hour immediately before the performance. If this is important to you, you must establish this at the time of booking, as those bands who set up immediately before performance will either not do this earlier or will charge extra. If there are site access restrictions which extend their time on site or limit access to their vehicles to the performance area (as with show grounds) then the extra time on site is usually charged extra. You must state such requirements on the booking form.
