The AS Ceilidh Band, based in Middlesbrough, are a very experienced ceilidh band featuring top class musicians and callers. They are equally at home playing for weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, Burns night, St Patrick's, or fundraisers. Featuring multiple instruments, they will give you a night to remember!
As well as tailoring their repertoire to your needs, the band can play a themed ceilidh - be it Irish, Scottish, American or English. They are also an accomplished concert band, and can entertain your guests in the breaks, by singing a song, or even the odd request!
The band can offer all Irish Ceili, Scottish Ceilidh or a mixture including English or American. They are a group of talented musicians, who have been playing in bands for many years on Teesside and then decided to form this band after they realised they had something 'special' going. They are capable of catering for all musical tastes - Irish, Scottish, English or American (or a mix). They'll also throw the odd song in now and then to give everyone else a breather!
The band instrument line-up includes accordion, tenor banjo/ fiddle, guitar plus their own very experienced caller who walks you through the dances.
This ceilidh band are happy to travel to give anybody a really fun night of dance and song! So whether it be the Gay Gordons, the Dashing White Sergeant, or Strip the Willow, this is the band for you.
