The NG Band are a stonking English barn dance band - playing stonking tunes for stonking dances. Guaranteed to make any party or event go with a swing. As with many ceilidh and barn dance bands, they are all active in many other bands too, but when they come together here they create something really special. They get tunes out of their instruments that aren't even there! Put all that together with an experienced caller to help everyone through the dances and it's a recipe for a great night.

The musicians in the NG Band have a long, varied and illustrious pedigree. Nina has been playing folk fiddle for over 30 years and delights audiences with her passion for playing bouncy English tunes - you'll find her dancing along too, as well as playing. Sandy (melodeon) recently won Best Folk Duo at Chipping Norton Music Festival (not on her own, obviously, she was teamed up with Tim Howes). Andy plays anglo-concertina with several other bands too, and has been playing for ceilidhs, barn dances and morris for about 40 years (yes, he looks a lot younger than he is!).
