Uilleann Piper - Becky ref: 6137

Becky is one of the few female exponents of the Uilleann or Irish Pipes in England today. Well renowned as a solo performer and teacher, Becky has performed at folk festivals and events in the UK & Europe for the last 25 years. Becky is renowned for her ability to give a distinctive interpretation to traditional tunes on a number of instruments; Uilleann pipes, fiddle, Northumbrian pipes, whistle and duet concertina, and her skill in contemporary composition and arrangement that continue that tradition are a major feature of her music.

In May 2008 Becky performed with Russian musical legend Boris Grebenshikov and his 'International Ensemble' to a capacity audience at the Royal Albert Hall. In 2011 she was invited to tour Russia.
