The MH Jazz Band was formed in 2002 from some of the finest musicians in the South of England. The MK Trio, with classic New York line-up of piano-double bass-drums, plays straight ahead jazz inspired by the music of writers Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and the like who created what we know as "great American songbook". George draws his inspiration for his piano and vocals from the likes of Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Chet Baker, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
