The MW Ceilidh Band are happy to play for your wedding reception, party, celebration, barn dance, ceilidh or hoedown. The band perform Irish Ceilidh (ceili) for weddings in and around the East Midlands. The band offers a mixture of traditional English, Irish, Scottish and American dance music suitable for a barn dance or ceilidh, played on fiddle, accordion and guitar, with their usual caller on bodhran.
This lively band are a very popular and experienced Ceilidh / Barn Dance Band and are available for all events ranging from weddings, anniversary parties, fund raisers etc. A great band for an Irish Ceilidh (ceili) on St Patrick's Day’s, or just to bring the flavour of Ireland to the East Midlands. The ML Ceilidh Band are made up of fiddle, accordion, mandola/Guitar plus caller . For Ceilidhs and barn dances they team up with a local caller to direct the dances.
The ML Ceilidh Band play for weddings, corporate events, parties and other celebrations. Their music includes a mixture of traditional Irish and Scottish tunes, plus some Bluegrass and Appalachian music. The TLD Band formed eleven years ago as a ceilidh band, and have since performed regularly around the East Midlands and beyond. Instruments used include melodeon, fiddle, concertina, guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin and sometimes drums. The band perform Irish Ceilidh (ceili) for weddings in and around the East Midlands. Their caller can generate a lively atmosphere within seconds and his approach to dancing is definitely to hit minimum anxiety for the dancers and to make it fun!
