The TN Barndance Band play a mix of Irish, Scottish, American and English folk music. Truro is within this band’s local area for dances. The line- up includes fiddles, banjo, whistle, guitar and keyboard. The band will normally begin with some music to listen to get people in the mood. Then their caller will walk and talk you through all the dances before the band strikes up, so that even the most inexperienced dancer of any age will have a great time.

The CJ Ceilidh Duo are a small ensemble of just one musician and caller! Chris, the multi-talented musician in question, uses a loop pedal and a variety of instruments to build up the full band sound, while Jeremy calls the dances. Small but perfectly formed, the CJ Duo can play in smaller spaces than a full band would allow, but don't compromise on the sound or the vibe.
