How to calculate how much to pay

If you are paying by credit or debit card, we have to ask you to add on a percentage to cover the charges made by PayPal. why? You can calculate how much you need to pay, as follows:

1. If you are paying us from an account in Pounds Sterling (£)

Payment you make to us =

amount due as shown on our Confirmation & Invoice * 1.034

e.g. if you are paying a deposit of £100, then you will have to pay

£100 * 1.034 = £103.40

2. If you are paying us from an account that is NOT in Pounds Sterling (£)

Payment you make to us =

amount due as shown on our Confirmation & Invoice * 1.034 * 1.039

e.g. if you are paying a deposit of £100, then you will have to pay

 £100 * 1.034 * 1.039  = £107.43

Why we charge extra for online payments

We aim to keep our costs to a minimum, so that we can keep our prices to you as low as possible. If you pay us by direct bank transfer or cheque, the cost to us for handling the payment is zero. If you pay by Credit or Debit card, we get charged for this service and have to ask you to cover that charge. We use PayPal because they offer the lowest fees. Back
