Typically for a civil wedding, the quartet would play music for guests to listen to, before the ceremony, then for the entrance of the bride, during the signing of the register and as the couple made their exit. "Rothley Court is an impressive ancient rambling Manor House, with its own 11th Century Chapel, idyllic manicured grounds, rose walk, babbling brook and trout filled river. Located just outside Leicester and on the border of Rothley Park Golf Club, this beautiful hotel is perfectly placed in the English Countryside. Situated in Rothley, a quiet village 8 miles to the North of Leicester City Centre. Rothley Court has a long history dating back to the Doomsday Book of 1086 and encompasses plenty of traditional historic charm, making it the ideal retreat at any time of year. The Templar Suite. The elegant Templar Suite on the first floor of the Hotel can cater up to 85 guests, for a formal Wedding Breakfast. The Wilberforce Suite. The historic oak panelled Wilberforce Suite has access to the patio and garden, has been registered for the solemnisation of marriages. The Wilberforce Suite can accommodate is 85 guests for an evening reception. For larger parties a marquee attachment onto the patio is available which can accommodate a further 55 guests. 140 guests in total."
