"As reproted by Aylesbury Today a QUARTER of a million pounds is being spent on giving the Watermead Inn a facelift in a bid to improve the service it offers to locals. The only major structural work that is set to take place involves the removal of a wall that runs through the centre of the public area so that it can be given a more open feel. As well as a 100-seater restaurant there will be al fresco dining on the pier that goes out over the lake and there will be a lounge area for people who just want to go in for a drink."
