"There has been a pub at Windmill Hill for around 200 years. The owners, Chris and Janet Slow, are celebrating their 12th year and in that time have built up a reputation for very good food and drink in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The pub is run in a relaxed, informal manner allowing you to enjoy a drink, some food or celebrate a special occasion in the Barn , a seperate venue behind the Square and Compass. The Barn, in the generous garden grounds behind the pub, offers the perfect venue for weddings, conferences and parties set in beautiful Somerset countryside. Large gardens, seating and modern facilities make the Barn suitable for all manner of occasions."
