"Clay House is a Jacobean building, a fine example of the vernacular architecture of the Seventeenth Century. It is set in a beautiful rural park in the village of West Vale at the start of the Calderdale Way footpath, two and a half miles from the centre of Halifax. Clay House is hired as a whole, making it an ideal venue for ceremonies and receptions, banquets, training sessions or any variety of formal or informal events. It is licensed for civil ceremonies."
