"The Hotel is set in 20 acres of secluded gardens and woodland, and affords an unrivalled panorama of magnificent scenery. The Old Man of Coniston, Scafell, Fairfield and the Langdale Pikes form a dramatic backdrop to Lake Windermere. In place of the Register Office or Church, you may choose to hold your wedding ceremony at the Hotel. In these attractive and romantic settings your reception can begin immediately after the wedding ceremony. Another advantage is that your guests are saved the inconvenience of travelling and parking for the ceremony and then again to the Hotel for the reception.
