"Minworth Greaves is a house that dates to the 13th century. It would have been a simple building, yet it would have been the home of a wealthy family. The main hall was heated by an open fire in the centre of the room. The smoke would have escaped through the windows which were just holes in the wall called 'wind eyes'. The medieval hall at Selly Manor is the perfect location for weddings and Civil Ceremonies and other celebrations. This is a dream setting for a small wedding or partnership ceremony. The ceremony takes place in Minworth Greaves, a medieval hall dating to the 12th century. Entrance is through the heavy oak door into the main hall, where the ceremony takes place in front of the 17th century table. Minworth Greaves can seat up to 40 guests, and the beautiful Tudor garden provides a perfect backdrop for memorable photographs. The hire of Minworth Greaves for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies is ?600 Monday to Thursday and ?700 Friday to Sunday."
