"Bitton House is a beautiful Period House, part of which is available for hire for weddings and receptions. The Council hires rooms for those wishing to organise their own receptions. The use of the Mayor's Parlour for a marriage is ?45 (please note check first with Newton Abbot registrar for availability). For a nominal sum, good quality crockery, cutlery and glasses may be hired. No cooking is allowed because of the artefacts in Bitton House, we can put you in touch with a caterer experienced in organising receptions at Bitton House should you so wish to. There is plenty of parking at Bitton House at weekends and beautiful views over the lawns to the sea. For a donation you could have your pictures inside the recently rennovated Orangery with a backdrop of beautiful exotic plants and flowers to help make the day even more special."
