"The hotel name originates from many years ago when the oldest part of the building was used as the collecting house for the tithes gathered from one hundred districts in the country. From this has grown the present twenty seven bedroom hotel, offering the very highest standard of accommodation, banqueting and conference facilities, with a fine restaurant providing the best choice of locally sourced produce, grown by neighbouring farms for our extensive a la carte menu. The twenty seven bedrooms have private bath/shower, remote control colour T.V and radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, trouser press and teas/coffee making facilities. We are especially proud of our bridal room. We also have an executive room with 4-poster bed and jacuzzi."
