About Redruth

Redruth sits at the junction of the A30 and the A393 in Cornwall, very close to Camborne. The National Trust nature area of Godrevy is just to the north west, with a beautiful beach, cliff top walks and wildlife including seals and birds.

Cornwall is well known for tin mining. The Cornwall Gold and Tolgus Mill museum is north west of Redruth. The town is in a wooded valley and the name means Red Ford. It is also home to a museum related to the history of Cornwall, Kresen Kernow.
