This band are one of the most experienced and lively ceilidh bands in Wales. A great Scottish Ceilidh Band for a wedding, Burns Night, or party in Mid Wales. Their music and dances draw on the rich traditional folk repertoire of Wales, Ireland, England and Scotland and will light your up your barn dance, wedding, party or in fact any event. For any entertainment, for young and old, seasoned dancers or people with two left feet, the band's experienced caller will get you up and dancing.
Based on an English Barn Dance Band, they can also include American, Scottish and Irish if desired. Mid Wales will ring to the traditional music of this Scottish Ceilidh Band. Hear all the traditional barn dance tunes, dance all the dances, with the SR Band, including accordion, fiddle, bass and Sheila herself, the caller (+ guitar, percussion) ,– and what a lovely Geordie accent she has too! The band's emphasis is on having fun and they are happy to play for any event, from village socials, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings etc.

This group are a barn dance/Ceilidh band providing live music in a lively and exciting style. The band has been in existence for over 25 years, under the leadership of Tony. Whilst the line-up has been 'liquid', the core of Tony and Hamish has remained constant. A Scottish Ceilidh Band to create a real Scottish experience in Mid Wales.
