The M H Gypsy Jazz Quartet are an exciting young gypsy jazz band playing a mix of gypsy swing, jazz standards, bebop and world music. The quartet's main aim is to keep this style of jazz fresh, new and exciting whilst paying homage to the traditions of the music. Ripon is within this Jazz Band’s local performance area.

This band specialise in the unique British Dance Band sound of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s with its combination of violins, saxophones and rhythm section. This type of music is associated with famous bandleaders such as Henry Hall, Ambrose, Harry Roy, and others. The GH Trio consists of George on piano and vocals, plus bass and drums. Ripon is within this Jazz Band’s local performance area. George is a jazz pianist and vocalist who studied at Leeds Conservatoire. He specialises in music from the Great American Songbook.
George draws his inspiration for his piano and vocals from the likes of Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Chet Baker, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
Gary is widely recognised as one of the UK's classiest jazz vocalists, regularly appearing in theatre and cabaret throughout Britain and abroad. He is also available for weddings and functions.
A classic singer in the Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett mould, Gary can perform with a trio, or a quartet to bring a touch of class to your function to make it an occasion to remember. This Jazz Band is well known in Ripon.
The trio comprises keyboard, bass and drums.

The GL Jazz Trio are a distinctive trad/dixie trio based firmly Up North. Ripon is within this Jazz Band’s local performance area. With a classic lineup of sousaphone, banjo and trombone, these boys can deliver an unforgettable experience. They're much more than the usual jazz band - 1920s songs, speciality tunes, banjo virtuosity and a magnificent selection of waistcoats are all on the cards. If you're lucky, they might even play Dueling Banjos (on one banjo)!
