This family based ceilidh band are from East Yorkshire, and are available for hire at folk festivals, wedding receptions, parties, fund-raisers, and corporate events. This band plays for parties, weddings and other events in and around Hull. They are a talented trio of musicians, who have been performing together for over 20 years.
Their extensive repertoire covers the United Kingdom and beyond, including Scottish, Irish, English Folk, Country and traditional music to name but a few.
The RS Duo hail from the North of England and are a melodeon/fiddle duo - Paul (melodeon) also calls the dances. Hull is within this band’s local area for dances. Paul's Compact Ceilidh is one of our "one person band" ceilidh artists. Paul calls the dances and also plays melodeon. The band regularly plays for private functions in Hull. Paul is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist playing in many bands - he knows his stuff and is able to get you all dancing, regardless of your age or expertise! He also brings all required equipment with him (all PAT tested and covered by PLI) and is ideal for intimate or quirky venues where there might not be space for a full band.
The NFB Band hail from Yorkshire and are a "power trio" of melodeon, fiddle and percussion. A fun band for a wedding or party in Hull. They have a mixed repertoire of the English and Scottish styles, or can stick to all the Scottish standards if you want a more traditional Scottish experience. They have a full sound and a rhythm that's sure to get everyone up and dancing, and their caller will take everyone through the dance steps. This four piece Ceilidh band has a line up of Nicky on fiddle, Marie on Accordion and Michael who is the caller & concertina player. They have various guest musicians such as Helen (piano and fiddle), Paul (guitar and fiddle), Matt (guitar and saxophone) and Tom (mandolin and mandola) to give you all the drive to make your feet want to dance.
