The MF Ceilidh Band are a lively 3 piece band (plus caller), hailing from the North of England. An ideal Barn Dance Band for a wedding or party in Guisborough. They are available for all kinds of events - usually across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and County Durham, and sometimes further afield. The NL Barn Dance Band have been providing quality ceilidhs and music for over 20 years. Their sound draws from their Northumbrian, Irish and Scottish heritage, making a melting pot of Celtic influences and a wide variety of lively and exciting music. Many moons ago, three men were born in Sheffield and played rock music together. Many less moons ago two women grew up in Wales and played folk music beautifully. Eventually the women went to university in Sheffield and the OK Ceilidh Band, blending traditional ceilidh fun with a driving rhythm and backing, was born.
