The DS Ceilidh duo is a 'micro ceilidh' band made up of box/bass drum and caller/whistles/flutes, perfect for smaller spaces or budgets. Eltham is within this Barn Dance Band’s local performance area. They can also offer less familiar instruments, such as cornamuse, hulusi and bagpipes, and they can sing songs while your dancers get their breath back! The musicians have years of experience playing in ceilidh bands and their repertoire covers English, Scottish, Irish, American and some French.
The LT Band (2 piece + caller) is a well established ceilidh / barn dance band, featuring a fiddle and accordion plus caller. This Barn Dance Band is a regular visitor to Eltham. The Fiddle player swaps to guitar where appropriate and they also use a percussion block to add a bass drum sound.
