Since graduating with a Post Graduate Diploma from Trinity College of Music London in 2007, Maria has been enjoying a dynamic orchestral and solo freelancing career in UK, Europe, China, Japan and Qatar. In December 2011 she was the harpist that won the auditions for the Youtube Symphony Orchestra and, being chosen by members of the Berliner Philarmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra, she performed at the Sydney Opera House under the baton of Michael Tilson Thomas.
She has more than 10 years experience in background music and her music has been the soundtrack of several ‘afternoon teas’ organized in the halls of the most famous London hotels such as the Hilton, Ritz, Sheraton and Carlton Tower. It has accompanied the ‘yes’ in many weddings in places such as St Paul’s and Westminster Cathedral, has delighted exclusive parties in the City and added that touch of style to many dinner and business meetings. Previous clients include Mercedez Benz, Bulgari, HSBC, Walmart, Channel 4, Google and Valentino among others. She was also fortunate enough to perform at high class corporate events in Milan, Como, Florence, Costa Smeralda, Como and Lugano.
Maria always tailors each performance to suit every individual need with her diverse musical repertoire ranging from classical to folk, jazz and pop. She will give attention to every small detail to create the perfect “musical frame” for your special moments.
