The RR Soul Covers Band

The RR band is a talented and youthful female fronted soul covers band playing the best of classic and contemporary soul, funk, motown, disco and pop from Stevie Wonder to Amy Winehouse. Fronted by the soulful voice of Ruby, whose powerhouse vocals defy her tiny frame, the band are made up of professional and trained musicians with vast gigging experience.

Putting their heart and soul and a retro look and feel into every performance gives a new lease of life to classic soul songs from the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s to current chart music, showcasing hits from soul legends like Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Nina Simone, Etta James, Otis Redding, Franki Valli and Dusty Springfield as well as the finest contemporary soul and pop songs from young British artists Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Pixi Lott and Plan B to name a few.

Formed of experienced musicians, the band members have toured across the world in various original acts supporting the likes of Duran Duran and Alison Moyet and have had radio play on BBC6 and XFM with their own music. Previous corporate clients include Mazda, Octagon Worldwide, British Greyhound Racing Board, Atkins Global, The Lancaster London and Goodwood Festival of Speed.
