The SL Jazz Quintet ref: 6023

The SL Band are a relaxed, easy listening, jazz quintet comprising a female vocalist and rhythm section of piano, guitar, bass and drums. In the main, we have a wide repertoire which covers swing, blues, latin, genres and includes renditions from some of the greats of the 20’s up to the more modern and famous standards of the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. Whatever the era, the SL Jazz Quintet specialise in playing popular melodic tunes that are all time favourites.

We are devoted to our music and met several years ago whilst studying jazz at Goldsmiths University of London. The band delivers professional vocals backed by a strong rhythm section and would appeal to the mature audience or those who require a more relaxed lounge jazz event. With a noise level that does not inhibit your guests’ conversation the band can provide background music during a reception or meal. We are definitely not a pop group.

The band can dress formally or informally to suit the occasion and are able to bring their own PA system and lighting if necessary. We provide recorded background music before, between and after sets, if required.
