The SR Barn Dance & Ceilidh Band ref: 4808.2
Hear all the traditional barn dance tunes, dance all the dances, with the SR Band, including accordion, fiddle, and Sheila herself, the caller (+ guitar, percussion) ,– and what a lovely Geordie accent she has too. The band's emphasis is on having fun and they are happy to play for any event, from village socials, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings etc.

| Wedding | I was so busy trying to talk to our many guests at our wedding at Broadfield Court last Saturday that I did not have time to talk to the Band playing for the Ceilidh. Please can you thank Sheila and her Band very much for all their hard work looking after us, including the children who really enjoyed playing instruments in time with the band. | Anniversary | thank you very much for organising Saturday night. The musicians were excellent and Sheila was quite marvellous as the caller. She pitched the whole evening perfectly from the level of noise down to the suitable dances, all with a lovely smile and a wonderful sense of humour. She actually had on the floor dancers from 9 up to 90! And I think they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. |
