Guitarist - Duncan ref: 2717
Duncan has been playing the guitar since the age of 8 when it became evident that he had a natural talent for the instrument. He trained at The Trinity College of Music and the Royal School of Music. At age 16 he came 2nd in the Southern African National Guitar Competition at open level under the adjudication of the great Stepan Rak. Following this and many other triumphs at competition level, he has gone on to study Contemporary Music in London and performs regularly for weddings, fund raisers, corporate and private occasions.
His playing has taken him from Johannesburg to Chicago, Paris, Nice, Berlin, Amsterdam, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo and the Greek Isles. He has been praised for his sensitivity and understanding of all occasions as required and has been complimented on understanding and setting the mood for various scenarios by picking carefully from his vast repertoire of classical and contemporary classics.
