The George Hotel, Oxfordshire

This beautiful 15th Century coaching Inn located in a picturesque Oxfordshire village is an idyllic and wonderfully romantic setting for the perfect wedding. Situated opposite the pretty Dorchester Abbey church the George Hotel, with its oak beams and inglenook fireplaces, is ideal for an intimate reception. The carriage outside the hotel affords a perfect backdrop for romantic photographs. The central archway leads through to the courtyard, mews bedrooms and Stable Suite function room which can cater for up to 45 guests buffet style and 30 for a formal wedding breakfast. For larger occasions the hotel’s extensive gardens allow plenty of space to erect a marquee where the hotel can recommend and assist with services for your special day. There are 11 ensuite bedrooms split between the mews and the main building all elegantly furnished with antiques. Additionally there is a spacious Four Poster bedroom ideal for the Bride and Groom.
