Typically, the evening would start with some music to listen to, to get people 'in the mood'. There would be a couple of dances, then a break for people to get their breath back, while the band played another tune, then another dance and so on.

The school is set in the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside just five miles from Nottingham City centre. The Manor School of Fine Cuisine was established in 1987 by Claire Tuttey. It has recently moved to 'Woodpeckers' which is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with ponds, woodland and lovely views over the Trent Valley. The School has a large lecture kitchen and dining area purpose built to form the School premises. They have a private carpark with ample parking and a private drive.
