Often, the music chosen for the ceremony is baroque and classical repertoire, but this need not be the case. Music from the shows, or anything else that is the favourite of the couple, is potentially possible.

The Elms hotel is an impressive grade 2 listed building set in beautiful grounds in the market town of Retford. The hotel provides an excellent base for visiting Nottinhamshire, Sherwood Forest and Clumber park, all just a short distance away. The new Robin Hood Doncaster/Sheffield airport is a 20 minute journey by car. The Elms is a well pointed hotel and function venue. All 16 en-suite bedrooms have colour televisions,tea and coffee making facilities, and are non-smoking. The hotel includes a lively bar area, and informal dining room- with a traditional British Fayre Menu.
