Shorncliffe House, Kent

At the end of the ceremony, the couple can lead their guests out and photographs can be taken on the steps of Shorncliffe House or in the beautiful Kingsnorth Gardens, immediately opposite. During the late Victorian and Edwardian era Folkestone became the place to be and be seen and many large and imposing buildings were constructed. Shorncliffe House was one of these buildings, and is situated on Shorncliffe Road, not far from the town centre and Folkestone East railway station. The Shorncliffe room is of elegant proportions, made light and airy by an attractive bow window to the front. The room provides an atmosphere of relaxed formality for couples and their guests.
