Cooling Castle Barn is located some eight miles north of Rochester, Kent. It is sited on the historic scheduled monument of Cooling Castle. This idyllic setting has three barns - each with individual character, historic architecture and outstanding beauty. Above all, Cooling Castle Barn offers everyone a warm welcome - be it for a complete wedding service or reception, a birthday, office or Christmas party, conference or any other event where we can help to make a difference. The imposing original king and queen post structure of this traditional 16th/17th century tithe barn reaches to an impressive height of nine metres . The exposed beams, rafters and red kent bricks are enhanced by atmospheric lighting designed to highlight the features and fabric of the building. As the largest of our three barns it is ideal for many types of event typically weddings, parties and corporate functions.
