| This lively band are in great demand for weddings, parties, charity events, corporate entertainment and other functions requiring that little bit of extra in entertainment value. The band pride themselves on a professional approach to all situation and importantly , a strong sense of FUN!
The band works with a team of 4 experienced and sympathetic callers. Each has a special talent ranging from singing, recorder playing to humour and a dry wit. Their caller explains the steps to each dance before it begins and then ‘calls’ out the steps as the dance happens, demonstrates and sometimes joins in with the fun. The difficulty level of the dances is geared to the experience and requirements of the participants.
As an added bonus, If you want to round off your evening with some disco dancing there’s no need to hire a separate disco. The band can provide a good mixture of popular party music played through their high quality sound system coupled with light sequencers. (modest extra charge) |
| The OX Band are happy to accommodate requests for favourite dances, tunes and songs (providing they know them). If you are looking for an Irish flavour, the Band can also offer a selection of Irish jigs, reels and a few Irish songs.
Music samples include American, Irish and Scottish styles. |
