| The KF Barn Dance Band is a group of musicians who provide live barn dance music for special occasions. They are a traditional style band which can include accordion, violins, double bass, guitar, recorder and drums. Some instruments are amplified to ensure a good balance of sounds, and their caller wears a lapel mike so that dance instructions can be heard clearly. During the break the band are keen to keep the entertainment live, and would be happy to play a selection of folk tunes and solo items.
Every band member is an experienced musician and as a group they have performed for parties, fund-raising events and folk nights. They would be pleased to organise and lead the dances for an event such as a Social Evening or could provide the musical atmosphere for weddings or parties. |
| Band repertoire includes both English and Scottish favourites. |
