| The LR Trio regularly play ceilidhs with Liam calling the dances and playing melodeon, Nina playing piano with equal dexterity (and enchanting you with her voice on occasions) and Tim adding a huge amount of colour with his vast array of instruments including: side drum, washboard, temple blocks, cornet, flugel horn and kitchen sink!!
If you are looking for a band for a fund-raising event or wishing for a slightly more informal evening for the smaller relaxed night, this may well be your answer when considering 'live' music for your ceilidh or barn dance - especially if you would like the kids involved as well ! Liam has been involved in various educational and music/dance projects in the UK and abroad, running workshop in English music and he regularly works within school projects.
The band is also available as a Quartet - adding fiddle to the Trio and as a Duo with just melodeon/caller and piano. |
