| The BD Band was formed in 2005 with the aim of providing exciting and high quality music for ceilidhs, dances and other special occasions. The players are all talented and experienced professionals who can perform a wide variety of entertaining folk music. This includes all the favourite Irish, Scottish and English sets, along with French dances, East European tunes, original music written by Gerry, and the velvet vocals of Emma.
The band line-up consists of Mick on guitar/ hurdy gurdy/ mandolin/banjo, Gerry on accordion, Emma fiddle & vocals, Belinda flute & whistles and Vicky on bodhran/ percussion/ recorder. The band's regular caller, Dan has a friendly and and enthusiasic style and is great for getting people up and dancing. |
