| Formed in June 2004, this Trio playing the three instruments of guitar, keyboards and double/electric bass, explore the musical possibilities afforded by its all-string instrumentation. The Trio strives for unshakeable groove in songs, during improvisation and whilst exploring and affirming new harmonic and rhythmic terrain.
Each of the players holds a love for jazz – consequently songs with lush, hip or unusual harmonies figure prominently in the trio’s songbook. The band delights in playing tunes that are infectiously ear-catching to listeners, yet also challenging, satisfying and fun to play. |
