| The GL Trio is a 3-piece instrumental group playing gentle and sweet music intended as a background to social occasions. The group has played at formal dinners (including during a 'wedding breakfast') and at other times when nothing significant is happening and the guests are chatting, sipping champagne, etc. The music (played on a range of recorders and acoustic guitar) is drawn mainly from the Elizabethan period (example 'Greensleeves') and is characterised by its tuneful and relaxing sound. |
