| The string quartet has played together for a number of years, and in many of the west’s most beautiful buildings. It is made up of widely known, experienced professional players from the Bristol area. Between them they have played with a variety of orchestras: the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Halle, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the English Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia of Bristol. They have been in demand as session musicians for radio and television, as well as backing musicians for pop bands; as teachers, they have brought music to thousands of young people in the West Country.
The string quartet have played at many well known venues including,
Berkeley Castle, Clearwell Castle, Cricket St. Thomas, Chavenage House, Kingsweston House, Coombe Lodge. - to name just a few. |
