| Hindustani Classical music, the music of Northern India & Pakistan, is a rich & ever-evolving tradition that has become a global phenomenon. Mohamed & John are both skilled exponents of this tradition. They present recitals of sitar & santoor with tabla accompaniment. The Duo takes audiences on a journey into this enthralling musical world – with performances guaranteed to captivate and inspire! This includes presenting classical raags, folk tunes & light classical numbers. They also present their own original fusion-based compositions.
Mohamed has performed across the UK and in Europe, including at The Lowry (Manchester), Contact Theatre (Manchester), Logan Hall (London), West Yorkshire Playhouse (Leeds), Alhambra Studio (Bradford), Czech Republic, Amsterdam & Germany. |
| Repertoire can include Indian Classical music as well as our own fusion compositions which draw upon musical influences & ideas from across the world. This depends on the wishes of the client and requirements of the particular event. |
