| The string quartet has gained a fine reputation throughout Yorkshire, where they are based, since they started playing together in 1994. Between them, the quartet have played in many of the best orchestras in Britain, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the Halle, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and numerous others.
The string quartet have played at many prestigious venues throughout Yorkshire, including the official openings of both Harvey Nichols and the Lowry Theatre, Manchester, the latter in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen. |
| The string quartet have an extensive repertoire of classical and light music. They are also able to write arrangements of most requests to suit a string quartet - if given enough advance warning.
All four quartet players are members of the orchestra of Opera North, the English Northern Philharmonia, and have studied at the best conservatoires in Britain. |
