handmade Bagpipes. Darren can also offer to play using the Smallpipes - which are often more acceptable in smaller venues. They also suit certain pieces of music better.
Darren plays frequently for weddings and other special events as well as for Corporate functions. He has played for a variety of corporate clients including the Holiday Inn, Newsquest, the Manchester Commonwealth Pool, MBM Corporate, Serco PLC - just to list a few. |
| Darren can offer a very wide repertoire of tunes for the pipes and can advise you on selections suitable for your day, from the well known favourites to ones with special meaning for your occasion. Music ranges from atmospheric slow airs to rousing quick
marches and foot tapping reels, jigs and strathspeys. He also plays unusual tunes such as ACDC, Star Wars Theme etc. He is willing to learn new tunes (at a small extra cost) if given enough advance warning. |
