| This string quartet is made up of professional musicians based in the Yorkshire area. They specialise in playing for weddings, either during a ceremony, at the reception, or both.
This is also a string quartet with a difference, in that as well as the conventional format of two violins, viola and cello, the same musicians can offer several other interesting combinations of instruments. Several quartets in one! A favourite combination is to use flute, clarinet or saxophone as a solo instrument, with string trio accompaniment. They can even offer didgeridoo!
Prestigious venues they have played at recently include Crathorne Hall, Seaham Hall, Hazlewood Castle, Rudding House Hotel, Carlton Towers, Headlam Hall Hotel, and Auckland Castle. |
| The string quartet offer a good selection of music: from Bach, Mozart, and Pachelbel (to name just a few) to The Beatles, Andrew Lloyd-Webber and songs from the shows. They have a large collection of songs from the 1920`s and 1930`s by composers such as Irving Berlin and Cole Porter. If there are any particular songs that are very special for you, that you would like played on your wedding day (or any other event) just let them know. Given sufficient notice, they are quite happy to play any piece of music which is not already in their repertoire. |
