Other kinds of Ceremony      

We have played for other kinds of ceremony, and are always here to discuss options and possibilities with you.      

Afterwards

We would then move to wherever is appropriate, to play during drinks. If the weather was good, we could play in the gardens. We can also play during the meal. Then on into the evening, perhaps with a completely different kind of music.

    

 
 

A Church Wedding Ceremony      

Typically we would play as the guests arrive for the ceremony, to set the atmosphere. We would then play for the entrance of the Bride, during the signing of the register, and as the couple make their exit.

Often, we would play with a Ceilidh Quartet or similar ensemble, with an organist playing for the hymns. However, we have also played for the hymns with a quartet, and there are many other options - soprano & organ, harp, etc.

A Civil Wedding Ceremony      

The choice of music can be influenced by the venue - formal or informal, themed or traditional, indoors or outdoors. For civil ceremonies, the string quartet is a favourite, as with Church Ceremonies, but other options are also popular, such as folk & jaz

 

 

 
   A Church Blessing   

This tends to follow the form of the Church Wedding Ceremony, but with perhaps more intercessions of music and readings.
